EZ Classic Baby Surprise
September 4th,11th, and 25th, Mysterious and fascinating to knit, this beautifully fitting baby jacket has been at the top of knitters' lists since 1968. One-piece garter-stitch construction using EPS (Elizabeth's Percentage System). 6-8 pm. Tuesdays, $60 + materials.
Lace Sampler Workshop with Cheryl Oberle
November 17th, You must bring the needles and other small tools (list will be provided when you sign up.) Basic skills are required, but knitters of all levels are welcome.Saturday 10 am to 4:30 pm, with 1/2 hour for lunch. $70 + materials.
Before there were pattern books, lace stitches were recorded in beautifully knit samplers that were passed from knitter to knitter. Spend a day learning to knit lace and begin your own heirloom sampler. You may choose to sample several patterns or to concentrate on advancing your skills and understanding of lace knitting.

Thrummed Mittens
Coming soon in November! These mittens are lined with fleece for extraordinary warmth. Using exotic fibres such as kid mohair, angora/wool mix, alpaca/silk, etc. results in a luxuriously soft mitten that you won't want to take your hands out of. Yummy!
ABOUT CHERYL: A knitter since she was 4 years old! Cheryl Oberle is the author of Folk Shawls and Folk Vests. Her designs have been published in Knitter's, Interweave Knits and Piecework magazines. She holds a B.A. in philosophy and psychology from the University of Denver, studied art and architecture at Harvard, and has done graduate work at Northwestern University. When she's not knitting, she can be found with her husband, Gary, enjoying the Colorado high country. She is currently working on her third book that is due to be published in the fall of 2008.

Endpaper Mitts
October 27 - November 10th, Make a pair of identical, reversible mitts. These are an excellent first project for a novice color work knitter - they're small, snappy and simple! The pattern is easy to memorize and predict (and they're worked in the round, so you'll learn to read your knitting), and they'll teach you some shaping basics. Larger Than Life Bag
October 6th - 27th , Learn to crochet this fun bag with a new twist on granny squares. We'll even tweak the bag further to make it more personalized. Mary Kay has a name for that: Sagacity [suh-'gas'-i-tee] - nounacuteness of mental discernment and soundness of judgment. Since the course will be as much about trusting your inner wisdom and preferences as it is about the pattern, she thought it was fitting. You’ll finish this class by lining it with your fabric.
