New Knitting Classes - At your Local Library!

Hey y'all!

I am teaching knitting classes at two local Denver Public Library's for 2011. I am teaching a series from June - September 2011, at the Smiley branch library. I have two classes scheduled at the Bear Valley branch in May & August. Join me there!! Here are the details:

Stitching the World Together - Charity Knitting Workshop

Join Sylvia Montoya - former owner of Posh, a Yarn Boutique as she returns with "fiberlicious" ideas for knitting with a purpose. She'll show you projects to make and tell you abbout some of the local oraganizations that accept them. Bring size 7 or 8 needles (double point or 16 in. circular) and get started on a hat.

Knitters! Need a fresh idea for those holiday gifts? Sylvia Montoya, former owner of POSH, a Yarn Boutique, shares some fab, “fiberlicious” projects you can make as gifts or for yourself! Got your own project? Bring yarn and your knitting needles and Sylvia will get you started.

**I will also have some books and a list of online sources to find find some fiberlicious projects, as well as a free scarf pattern.

A bittersweet ending...It's been an awesome journey, and I shared it with so many people that I hold close in heart. Thank y'all for making a community of fiberati in the 'hood. I hope that it continues on, and that the friendships that began at POSH last beyond.

Y'all have made me laugh & I've shared your sorrows & triumphs. You have touched my life in many ways, and you'll all live on in my heart.

New Tuesday Hours & Yarn!

POSH will now open at 1 pm on Tuesdays. You don't have to wait until late afternoon to get your fiber fix! A reminder: we are open late on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Also, a yummy sock yarn that is just in - 50% Superfine Alpaca, 30% Merino Wool, 10% Silk, & 10% Nylon. Misti Sock Yarn blends superfine alpaca, fine Merino wool, silk ,and nylon to create a superbly soft, resilient, and durable sock yarn. It comes in a 100 gram hank, 4 ply, Fingering Weight, 7 sts per inch, needle US #2. Come and give it a fondle!
